Welcome to the advent of a new dawn in arcade gaming. The Evo cabinet is the first home arcade machine to combine the wonderful memories of all your favourite arcade classics with the power and grit of next generation game play. For the first time ever, clients will be able to connect their PS3 console to their Evo system and play all next generation coin-op titles via the screen and joystick/buttons.
Soon to be seen as the king of arcade cabinets, the Evo would look the part in any setting whether at home, in the office or as a great addition to the games room. The Evolution benefits from a huge 28? widescreen Hi-Definition (over 1080p) TFT monitor with all high end branded components giving you superb quality gaming, and overall, the real pinnacle in home arcade machines.
Whilst the Evo looks so great, it’s also very easy to use - loading directly into the game selection menu with a one pushbutton on/off switch making everything as simple as possible. Even the PS3 compatibility is literally a case of attaching 3 wires, pressing a couple of switches to the correct mode, assigning the buttons in the game as you prefer and you are away.
As well as being provided with over 220 classic arcade games, the Evolution is also fully compatible with other PC games/emulators that can be easily loaded through the DVD drive or USB ports. All cabinets are also fully MAME compatible allowing access to a huge inventory of classic arcade games. The PS3 controls option has been specifically designed for the current/future generation of coin-op fighting games (ie Tekken Dark Resurrection, Virtua Fighter 5 and the hotly anticipated Streetfighter IV), although all next generation titles can be played via the screen and your own PS3 pad.
The large 2-player control panel has been purposefully set to be at the most comfortable angle and position for true arcade gamers allowing the greatest playability currently available in any home arcade cabinet. The trackball adds a whole new dimension allowing you to play all trackball games as they were meant to be played, to navigate on the desktop when selecting media functions and to enable a whole range of PC titles. Now, it’s simply up to you to choose between joining forces to defeat the eternal foe and taking each other on in combat to the death!
Just as the Evo is superb for gaming, it also offers exceptional multimedia functionality in that with the built-in DVD re-writer, wireless card, speaker in/out and USB ports, the cabinet doubles up as a high-end media centre. The Evolution Arcade Cabinet
With one of these remarkable cabinets, all of our clients can look forward to playing a whole host of arcade classics in the luxury of their own home - with over 220 of the best classic games included. Just as the Evo is superb for gaming, it also offers exceptional multimedia functionality. The Evo can be used as a jukebox with crisp built-in speakers, the option of Hi-fi link-up and lots of spare hard drive space for storing tunes; to watch or create a DVD; to source media or surf the internet with the cabinet’s wireless internet capabilities; or take advantage of the 2 external USB ports to add your media, link up your MP3 player or utilize any other handy PC devices such as digital cameras or additional X-box 360 joypads.
All cabinets are also configured to be compatible with the arcade emulator MAME allowing access to a huge inventory of games. Once installed, this emulator may enable our clients to add any other arcade games that they may acquire to their system. The cabinets can very simply be made to play over 5000 original arcade games. Arcade games that work with MAME are commonly known as ROMS. Similarly to MP3’s, not all ROM files are legal to download. We recommend using StarRoms.com (or similar sites) to ensure that the ROMs acquired are legally licensed. Clients can rest assured that all the games that are provided with the cabinets are licensed for home usage.
A vast amount of research and development has gone into ensuring that each cabinet exceeds all expectations not only in terms of game play and functionality but also with regards to safety and reliability. All cabinets are fully CE and LVD certified to surpass all the required safety standards, are extensively tested for a minimum of 72 hours prior to delivery and include a patented arcade cooling system. To allow you to relax, safe in the knowledge that you?ve made the right choice of arcade cabinet, there is an excellent warranty service in the unlikely event that something should go wrong and someone is always on hand to answer any questions should they arise.
All machines are plug-and-play with full instructions and access to the helpline number for any questions or queries regarding the cabinets. Every Evo cabinet is manufactured to order with lead-times approximately 2-3 weeks from receipt of order. Every machine is backed by a 12 months manufacturer’s warranty with the first 90 days an onsite warranty (UK Only), and the remainder of the 12 months (and overseas orders) back-to-base.
Whilst being a large cabinet, the Evo has been designed to fit through all standard door frame widths.
