The driving experience itself comprises an initial safety briefing before taking one of the worlds most advanced performance cars on a range of Handling Circuits including the only Wet Skid Circle of its kind open to the public in the UK.

What happens on the day

AMG is the name given to the range of Mercedes-Benz cars inspired by the racetrack. In one of the most advanced cars ever built you will unleash the huge performance from the V8 engine on the purpose built Handling Circuits. You will experience the perfected handling abilities of the AMG on a range of circuits and develop your driving skills with guidance from a professional driver in the passenger seat. The circuits include a unique arrangement to tackle oversteer, understeer, braking and other dynamics on a number of different surfaces, including the Wet Skid Circle where you can work on your skills to control an impressive power slide drift. Participants will be allocated to 1 car and professional driver. Experiences are on a 1 to 1 basis and include the following:

Sign in and receive personal briefing ahead of your start time
The hour experience begins with seat set up, to put you in the perfect driving position for optimum car control
Head to the Dynamic straight to work on acceleration and braking manoeuvres and run a Slalom
Move onto the Wet Straight, a low friction surface to simulate ice driving and the use of ESP (Electronic Stability Program)
Progress to the circuit to put together your optimum lap by following the correct line through the series of corners and straights
Continue to the Wet Skid Circle, the only one of its kind open to the public in the UK. Develop oversteer and understeer skill with and without the use of ESP (Electronic Stability Program) and see how long you can hold a power slide!
Not only that, there is a whole world to discover. Mercedes-Benz World is totally unique and one of the UK’s fastest growing visitor attractions. Located at Brooklands, home of British Motor racing and the first ever purpose built motor racing circuit, there is over a century of heritage. Within the stunning architecture You’ll find over 100 cars on display, from legendary classics such as the 300SL Gullwing to the latest innovations and the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren hyper car. On each of the three floors in Mercedes-Benz World, there are further attractions from an amazing 3D simulator that takes you through the manufacturing process of a Mercedes to a film in the impressive 88 seat cinema that tells the story of Mercedes-Benz including heritage and innovation. There is even a replica of the first ever car, the Patent Motor Wagen from 1886. To complete the experience there is a choice of either Caf 1886 or the Gullwing Restaurant to relax and refuel, with a range of options from a quick drink and snack to a delicious three course lunch (at an additional cost). Booking in advance is recommended for the Gullwing Restaurant.
